I liked the idea, its cute and very festive yet i am a concerned with the sustainability of the project - what happens to the wire and plastic coated 'stems' (cant recycle them with out removing all that plastic and most of the plastics used are not recyclable) and if the person makes it, then gets bored with it, where does it go? the painted canvas and flowers might be utilized? in a new project, sure, but not everyone cares to go to that amount of trouble to break it apart for reuse.

Thanks for the tip,? hot glue sounds like a great idea too. I'm thinking these might make good wall art too... hmmm :)

Thanks! I'm the same, so far so good. They are super sticky and I? used the large size. You could always use hot glue too if you wanted!

That looks awesome! I'm curious whether the tacky dots are sturdy enough to hold up the roses if someone were to lean against them.? I read in bed a lot, so I'm wondering how well it would hold up.

The roses idea is neat. Not keen on tassels and? the words make the background look busy imo.

And if you dont have a headboard you can use squares of prestretched canvas and hang that on your wall. Use different? flowers and such that reflect the different seasons or moods and change them out at when the mood suits you. The possibilities are endless and with the canvass squares it is a lightweight temp alternative.

hi! If you want more of an? upscale look, you could actually do a tile mosaic, or woodburn it, add crystals, etc. I'm a novelist, I LOVE words...especially affirmational ones like the one in the Happiness Kit. It fits with my style. It's just to give everyone an idea of how they can makeover their bed in an artful way....

Hi! I used Tacky Dots to apply each one, you could also use hot glue...I LOVE Magnetic Poetry - I use them? on my shrine crafts and affirmation shrines, etc...
By: BenjiBarkerIsNomore. on 10 Feb 12, 22:58:41
Did anyone else? realize the word "vibration" on the headboard with the magnetic poetry? I found that...interesting.
By: hipretty. on 10 Feb 12, 17:23:17
Cathy I LOVE your style. Did I miss something though? How are you getting magnetic poetry words to work on there...Is the headboard metal? Oh you are sticking them on with the same dots? But wait you also put some kind of trim on the edge of the headboard? I Love it...It is SOSexyBetsyJohnsonishBoudoirsesque! If you don't mind me saying! :-) Running right over to? sub to your channel!
